Vince Carter gets National and Local Attention
Our very own Vince Carter was interviewed last month by Keller Williams International about his success in our local market! His interview is being featured on Keller Williams' daily 'Power Call' to educate and motivate other agents across the country and throughout Canada about his success. KW International has heard about Vince's success and has featured him on this platform.
Additionally, today, Vince was featured on the front page of the Courier Journal in a story about short sales in our market. To learn more or to check out the article, please visit: http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=20106030321
The Irish Rover: Frankfort Avenue Feasting at its Finest!
For fifteen years now, The Irish Rover on Frankfort Avenue has invited its patrons to feast on a fine Irish menu while enjoying the pub atmosphere of old. Its motto, "Cead Mile Failte," or "One Hundred Thousand Welcomes," successfully sums up what this restaurant strives to do: provide a place for people to gather.
The Irish Rover has tried to recreate the idea of "a place to meet family, friends, or business associates, to catch up on news, debate politics, share a joke...a place of character and cadence rather than impersonal efficiency." http://www.theirishroverky.com/index.php3?pageid=4 And if you ask its patrons, it has done this successfully. The outstanding menu helps a little, too.
The menu at The Irish Rover has all your favorites and then some. Ranging in price from $3-20, it features simple tastes you love as well as full plates of the best servings you could imagine. The menu is divided into categories that meet your dining needs no matter the time of day or the company you're with. The bar bites section features small menu items that work great as starters or shared snacks. These items include everything from salmon to stuffed portabella to bubble and squeak, a time-honored recipe of griddle-fried mashed potato cakes, onions, and vegetables. The soups and salads menu offers a flavor for every palate with a wide array of options. The Pub Grub menu items include hearty stews, casseroles, and fry ups such as smoked salmon and potato gratin. Additionally, there are sandwiches, pub plates, children's menu items, desserts, sides, Saturday brunch, wines, and beer & whiskey on the menu.
The Irish Rover also features an upstairs party room, available to host your rehearsal dinner, surprise party, anniversary celebration... you name it. And they don't just host your special events: they also participate in the Frankfort Avenue Trolley Hop in addition to a boxing day and St. Patrick's Day celebration.
So the next time you're on Frankfort Avenue, make a stop by The Irish Rover. Or better yet, plan a special date night in advance and check it out. You won't be disappointed!
